CBT Cards / How it works

Use one small reflection step at a time.

Choose a card or guided tool, work through the prompt, write or check in when useful, and return later to what you recorded.

1

Choose a card or tool

Open a CBT-inspired card, protocol, metaphor, Thought vs Fact, Worry Box, timer, or another guided tool from the app.

2

Complete the prompt

Read the exercise and consider the question in your own words and context. The app does not decide what your answer should mean.

3

Write or check in

When useful, add a structured journal entry or record mood, stress, and energy for your own observation.

4

Review later

Return to favorites, journal entries, check-ins, and local reports to notice patterns in what you recorded.

5

Choose your settings

In Settings, manage reminders, a PIN lock, backups, analytics consent, and language preferences.

6

Know the boundary

CBT Cards is a general wellness and self-reflection app. It is not emergency support, diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for professional care.

Learn the exercises

Go deeper when a tool is new to you.

Structured journaling

Learn what the situation, thoughts, emotions, body reactions, behaviour, alternatives, and outcome fields are for.
