Default rule
If a source record is not explicitly listed in the CBT Cards review registry, treat it as unreviewed and source_only. Its presence in the source corpus does not mean CBT Cards has approved it for standalone publication.
The machine-readable registry is data/toolkit-review.json.
What “reviewed for publication” means
reviewed_for_publication means the CBT Cards project performed an editorial and safety review for a public website page. It does not mean the technique has been clinically validated by CBT Cards, proven effective for a condition, or recommended for an individual.

Known source-quality boundaries
- The pinned source corpus contains 115 records, but the source schema does not encode CBT Cards-specific clinical-review or publication status.
- Source records
protocol-1andprotocol-8share the title “Burnout Recovery Protocol”. Stable source IDs, not titles, are authoritative. - The corpus contains CBT-adjacent terminology and techniques. A record should not be relabeled as CBT solely because it appears in a dataset named CBT Toolkit.
- Protocol records remain source-only unless they are explicitly added to the review registry after separate editorial and safety review.
For agents and data consumers
Consult the review registry before presenting a raw toolkit record as CBT Cards-published content. When a record is not listed, identify it as raw source content and preserve the general-wellness boundary.
